Lein is the is the creative force behind Sand & Lava. The name Sand & Lava was inspired by Lanzarote. Beyond my love for this volcanic island, its colors (sand, black, white, earthy tones, and green) are truly my colors, both in fashion and interior design. With an occasional bold piece, because why not? Sand & Lava is not an average website; it's a testing ground, a concept that can go in any direction, and an expression of my personal style and way of life. Sand & Lava is always in motion, just like the sea and life.

A new simple style tip that everyone can apply!

It took a bit longer than expected because of my new job, but the 1st style tip is now online. One that is useful for everyone and easy to apply. Whether you are a huge fan of boho style or have a completely different style, apply this tip and everyone will notice the difference.
And of course, you don't have to stop at a third piece. Feel free to add more items to further enhance your outfit.

Due to the large number of enthusiastic international Sand & Lava fans, I will mix the seasons more this year. Because no matter how cold and wet it is in the Netherlands, you may be reading this in the sun. And then you don't just want to see snow and winter clothes......
And as always, shop in your own closet first, borrow, swap, buy second-hand, be creative. In 2025, saving will be the new earning! For example, to work less and spend more time on what you love to do or with the people you love.
